That was Tuesday’s game.
I needed to decompress from the weekend and from traveling. I needed to get ready for the rest of my week. I needed to do a mountain of laundry and grocery shop. I needed to food prep and ride my bike. I needed to breathe deep and get to bed early.
I didn’t get to bed early. But that was the only thing I didn’t check off my list. Thank goodness. I’m back at it and ready to finish up this week.
But I had a full day yesterday. It included some serious food prep and a new product that you all need to know about.
I went a bit overboard. Again. Freaking, LINDSAY. Why do you do this? This stuff is going to last me until next month Especially the zucchini and sweet potatoes. I roasted FOUR zucchini and THREE sweet potatoes. Big ones.
That’s what she said. I eat those little slices up like candy. So delicious.
Eats: Washed and chopped up fruits and veggies, hardboiled eggs, steamed broccoli.
Michele’s Granola. I’m not going to stretch and say this is some of the best granola I have ever had, I’m going to give it to you straight — this is the best freaking granola I’ve ever had. It’s the perfect blend of sweet and crunchy. But not TOO crunchy like some other kinds that’ll chip and tooth. And there were plenty of granola chunks, raisins and whole walnuts. It could have used just a little more cinnamon, though. I’m an out and proud cinnamon-holic. I even corrupt my Starbucks coffee with
ten a few shakes.
The ingredients are pretty great, too. Organic stuff. No GMOs. A pretty low amount of sugar.
You can order it online, and it comes in a bunch of different flavors. It also comes in a 5 lb. bulk bag. Perfect for someone like me who finishes 12 servings in three days. Niiiiice.
